Too often, we let busy schedules, pc time, videos, and computer games keep us from enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Not this Saturday! Today was filled with good, old fashioned, country fun. Our neighbor Lily and her friend Whitney came over and joined us for a day spent splashing in the creek, catching a toad, planting seeds, playing with kittens, jumping rope, climbing in the treehouse, riding the zipline, swinging and sliding on the swingset, riding bikes and scooters, hopping on the pogo stick, playing in a bucketful of water, laughing with each other, loving on each other, and just enjoying a slower pace of living.
