A lot of us grew up singing or sang to our kids the song that never ends.
"This is the song that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friend. Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was, and they'll continue singing it forever just because..."
That's how Betsie's birthday has been for us. I know it really will end one day, but for now, we're still having fun celebrating the occasion.
Betsie is still receiving belated birthday gifts and messages and yesterday, we went to Merit Creek for the last official function of her birthday season.
David jumps into the waterfall while Travis sadly waits for the sunscreen to dry.
Betsie and friends she's known most of her life.
Fancy, smancy, Hulk, nose-piercing guard.
Enjoying each others company before college and the mission field
separates them for nine months.
Saying goodbye to Jake, one of our very favorite missionaries, and Anna just before they headed back to New Orleans.

I love all this celebrating. I can't say that I'm as fond of all the fare-welling.
