This morning, Anna was proven right. She was definitely hearing from God when she said God told her that He would provide for her trip and she didn't have to stress about it.
This morning, unexepectedly, we sold the trailer we were trying to sell to raise money for Anna. The couple who bought it actually gave her money for the rv and then gave extra toward her mission trip. Now she's just a couple hundred shy of the total amount needed. Just a few weeks before she is due to leave for Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, it happened.
Isn't that like God? He knew we, her daddy and I, needed to also get to the point where we were letting go of the stress and trusting Him to provide. And then He did what needed doing.
"See, the fields are already ripe for harvest. The harvesters are paid good wages and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life."
This is one of the verses God used to tell Anna that she was to go this summer. And today, I saw Him pay her some of those good wages for her work in the harvest.
