Today we went and applied for the youngest three kids' passports. They were so excited, especially little Miss M.
At first, we thought she was going to have to wait til another day because we'd somehow lost her birth certificate. The lady at the post office was really sweet, though (and remembered us from previous passport office visits...after all, how many families with a million children come in there on their way to Africa?) and let us go ahead and do all the steps including taking photos. Jim just had to run and go get a new birth certificate and bring it back to her.
So with the passports due back in just a few weeks and ticket prices looking really good for January, it is looking like this crazy, loud, enthusiastic MacFamily just might be heading to Africa in 3 months.
You can only imagine how happy this makes the MacMama.
