SON P PRESENTS....
LEGO INDIANA JONES AND THE WAR WAR 2 TREASURE

.
You know, I gotta hand it to the marketing and product dev'p folks who handle the Indiana Jones franchise. My kids have never seen the big-screen movies yet they all are obsessed with this American icon. My 4 year old can be heard singing the theme song and as soon as my boys were able, they bought the related Lego Wii game. The kids can be frequently seen acting out Indiana Jones adventures and we have a puppy, a GIRL puppy, named Indie. 13 year old daughter B recently wrecked her bike and got some nasty scrapes due to daydreaming about this dashing figure.
.
On top of all this, my son P has started writing his own Indiana Jones stories and wanted me to post this one on my blog:
.
A normal day at the boarding college. Indie was writing a letter to his dad asking him if he would come meet him at New York. He also sent a package with two plane tickets. Then his dad sent him a letter saying "I will come and I have a surprise for you".
.
So Indiana Jones packed his bags and went to find Jock in the college.
.
Then they were off to New York.

When they got there, they found Henry Jones at the airport. They went to the greatest pizza restaurant in New York City. Then, when they made it there, Henry Jones told them the surprise. He said, "I've been looking around some mountains and found out something. There is a treasure behind War War 2, The Golden City".
.
So after the restaurant, they went out to find The Golden City. But once they were in the plane, they were attacked by the Nazis and Germans. So they had to seek shelter quick. They were shot down not too long from when they left New York.
.
They crashed down on an abandoned island where they found the first key of the map inside the volcano. Then they set off the booby-traps.
.
First the place started caving in and lava was shooting out everywhere. Then, before they knew it, the place was flooded with lava. Just as they escaped through the little hole in the mountain, they ran as fast as they could through the forest to the boats that they left from the plane.
.
As soon as they took off, the island exploded and they sailed safely away.
.
That's the end of part 1.

oh my, what an imagination. I have the movies if you want to borrow. The only one that wasn't good was the Temple of Doom. Have you seen them?

wo-ow! Lava and Nazis all in one day! Man that is very exciting...yay P!

AS for B crashing her bike...REALLY?

Marketing is what introduced Lizzie to Strawberry Shortcake. She was obsessed long before she ever saw a movie.
