PRAYING FOR THE WOMEN WHO CARRY THE LOAD

From the Children's Cup "Forty Days of Prayer for the Children" website:

Women in southern Africa, they carry a HUGE load.

- literally and figuratively -

.

And yet they are not typically valued or appreciated in these cultures. As a result, many live lives that are empty and full of despair. Add to this a high frequency of children and loved ones dying from AIDS and other diseases - and there’s little cause for joy.

But Jesus makes all the difference.

.

Lord, help us continue to find ways to show your love and hope to these precious ladies you love so much.
