On Thursday morning, while on our way to go get David from Camp Electric, we heard from Patrick. He sent us a short but sweet-to-this-mama's-heart message letting us know that they were in Manzini, doing great, and he'd see us in a few weeks. That was it.
Yeah, he's the strong silent type.
Other team members have written a blog post and some sent longer messages home to their folks so I will be sharing more details from them over the next few days. In the meantime, please continue to pray for them. They are all living very close together with little privacy, in a brand new culture, and experiencing and seeing some hard things. This is a recipe for either drawing them closer together or causing them to react in negative ways due to the stress of it all. Pray that they will each allow God to use every element to make them more like Jesus. Even the negative things, even their failures.
And we know that God causes all things
to work together for good to those who love God,
to those who are called according to His purpose. --- Romans 8:28
