OUR LAST FULL DAY IN AFRICA
Yesterday was spent in Mbabane, the capital city where I used to live, visiting with Swazi friends that I have not seen in 20 years.
Today we played tourist and hiked down to some beautiful falls in the Ezulweni Valley. Mantenga Falls are absolutely lovely and we're already planning on taking the kids there for a camping trip.
Yep, that's right. We are already envisioning a future in Swaziland with our entire family.
After the falls, we were able to visit the Zion Bible College classes held in Manzini and we were so blessed by the hunger of the people to learn about God and what the Bible teaches. So many in Swaziland are just waiting for someone to come and tell them the good news of Jesus. So many are praying for someone to come along beside them to help them lead and minister and disciple their congregation. So many orphans and widows are crying out for someone to help them simply leave.
We have heard their requests and cries and prayers. We love this nation and want to be a small part of God's answer here in Swaziland.
Tomorrow we leave Manzini to drive to Johannesburg. Around lunchtime in America, we will be boarding a plane and begin our long flight to the States. Please pray for us as we travel back to our home in the States. And continue to pray for us as we dream and pray and plan and look forward to the day when we will be back to Swaziland, back to our new home.
