THOUGHTS ON LOVE
With Valentine's Day approaching, I asked my kids for their thoughts on love while sitting around the supper table. Here is what they said:
Love is....
8 year old daughter LG: Friendship.
12 year old son D: (wipes his moth over and over again with napkin while giggling)...um...what?...stop, please....okay, um....love is like, I don't know...kissing, dating, getting married, having kids...you know, that stuff.
6 year old son T: BOO-O-OOO-OOOOP! What? Okay, first you become enemies. Then you become normal friends, then best friends, then boyfriend and girlfriend, then dating a little bit, then dating a lotta bit, and then you get married.
14 year old daughter B: Holding someone's hair while they puke.
4 year old little Miss M: Kissing and holding hands and getting married.
16 year old daughter A: The Love Chapter, I Corinthians 13.
