TO ESTABLISH A RELATIONSHIP

"The function of prayer is not to establish a routine; it is to establish a relationship with God who is in relationship with us always...The function of prayer is to bring us into touch with ourselves, as well. To the ancients, 'tears of compunction' were the sign of a soul that knew it's limits, faced it's sins, accepted it's needs, and lived in hope."

Was wondering if you remember where you found this image -- it's great shot. Stock photography perhaps?

I'm sorry to say that it is just one I snagged from a public website. When I first started blogging, I didn't realize that sometimes that was frowned upon. I try now to either use my own, use someone else's with permission, or use a photo that is definitely public domain or at least credit where I got the photo from.

But isn't it a great one?
