NASTY, NO-GOOD CRUD

I feel awful. Friday, a sinus/allergy attack hit me full-force. I fluctuate from just feeling mildy turr'ble to downright barely functioning. Right now, I'm just a little above the barely functioning mode. I'm not going to try to be funny or insightful or creative here, because if I keep on typing, I'm just going to slip into the "my life is so terrible and I feel awful and don't you just feel sorry for me" and I know that a seasonal sinus attack is not really that wretched in relation to truly tragic things going on in the world today.

I'm stopping.

This is getting mauldlin....or however that's spelled. Who can spell with their ears hurting and nose dripping and children actually demanding their mother take care of them.

As I said. I'm stopping....

Oh, if you think about it, I'd appreciate your prayers.

Awwwww... I'm so sorry you've got the crud. If I was there I'd bring you some good ole homemade chicken soup and take your littl'uns somewhere... but not the library. LOL! I'll be praying for you friend.

Thanks, Kelly.

Speaking of the library. The last couple of times the librarians, especially the relatively new head librarian (who is a man) has complimented on how WELL BEHAVED my children are at the library...especially my oldest TWO BOYS!!!!! Can you believe it???

And what's even crazier, he asked me if any of my kids had ever been hyper because they seem so calm!!!!!

W.O.W.

WHAT?!?!?! No Pappy climbing the very shelves?!?!?

But, of course!!! It is I that brings that out in masses of children everywhere... I just know it.

Thanks y'all for your sweet "words of wellness". I'm doing MUCH better today. PRAISING GOD for that BIG TIME!

And CB---We'll just have to test your theory about what influence you'd have on my children these days. Tell the hubster that he needs to fly you out here in the name of scientific discovery and progress.
